This landscape project started with the redesign of site walkways and landing areas at both the front and the rear of the house. At the front, we explored opportunities for upgrades to the entry court, particularly considering the recent transformation of the garage into a home gym. At the rear of the house, our design introduced a dining and entertaining terrace and new walkways to improve the functionality and aesthetics of the outdoor spaces for the owners and their family. The biggest landscape intervention was the addition of a swimming pool and its surrounding terrace and pool house, carefully positioned to harmonize with the architecture. To support this design, we developed an overall grading strategy to effectively manage stormwater and create a flatter play lawn, ensuring both practical and visual enhancements to the site. We designed a comprehensive planting plan to provide privacy and separation from the road, and establish a lush, cohesive connection between each terrace, walkway, and other elements of the site.
