Emma joined LJLA after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Landscape Architecture and minors in Plant Sciences and Community Planning. Emma’s collaborative design approach and diverse project experience has enabled her to quickly ascend to Senior Associate within the firm. Working in the Greater Boston area and Cape Cod, with roots in Rhode Island, Emma understands the unique character of New England landscapes. She strives to honor that sense of place through designs that respect local ecology and promote long-term sustainability. Beyond her professional work, Emma has spent the last five years restoring her home in Providence, a project that reinforces her commitment to authenticity and heritage. This passion for history often informs her design work, blending timeless character with modern needs.
